Group Classes are different from our Lodge and Learn Training because in this program you will actually be performing the training exercises under our supervision with your dog, and then practicing them at home! There are four levels of obedience starting with a free training session, and you can repeat classes. You’ll progress through the levels at your own pace with 4 months to complete them. We’ll take you and your dog from basic obedience through advanced off-leash training. If you can’t make it every week, classes are designed to allow you to miss when needed and not fall behind. Classes cost $30 a class.
New classes begin each week.
Level 1 Testing: Dogs must perform a sit/stay with handlers at the end of a 6ft. lead. Handlers must be able to walk all the way around the dog without breaking. Dogs must be able to perform a down/stay at the end of a 6ft. lead. Handlers must be able to walk all the way around the dog without breaking. The handler must be able to walk in different directions without having a tight leash. Please be sure to bring a 6ft leash, plenty of treats, and a clicker with you to class.
Our next round of group classes to be offered will be our Puppy Preschool Classes. Puppy Preschool classes meet once a week for 60 minutes. Puppy preschool is puppy training for puppies under 6 months old. Our puppy experts will help you and your puppy master several important skills and learn appropriate behavior. These skills include coming when called, sit stays, how to greet people, potty training and crate training. Other behaviors we will help you and your puppy work on will include jumping, walking on a loose leash, and avoiding trashcans. We also work on socializing and proper play behavior to ensure your puppy grows up productive and happy.
