Puptown River Oaks offers a wide variety of training catered to you and your pup. Some of the different programs include Private lessons, Group classes, Puppy jump start program, behavior modification, and our popular Lodge and Learn takes place in one our certified trainers homes. We do not train in a kennel environment all of our training takes place in realistic places such as Public Parks and Restaurants
Every dog is unique and as such we alter our training methods to fit the dog in order to achieve desired results. Puptown River oaks wants all dogs and their owners to find a balance in their home. Some dogs come to us unable to calm down in new environments. These dogs are reactive to environmental stressors such as other dogs, strangers, or cars driving by. We first find the root of the problem and teach the dog how to properly deal with stress. Through this we are able to accomplish putting the dog in a calm state of mind when previously would have sent them into panicked anxiety.
